Building Trades

As regional demand for renewable and efficient energy technology and expertise expands, the need for private sector technical assistance within our region will also expand. Our building trades have a unique economic opportunity to expand their services and provide clients in our region with help reducing their use of conventional energy.

To assist the private sector to meet this new market demand SEDA-COG is partnering with the Green Building Association of Central Pennsylvania (GBACPA) and other organizations to provide a variety of education and training opportunities for our region's building trades industry and their clients. Every third Thursday of the month, SEDA-COG provides a breakfast seminar focused on a specific green building topic of value to public and private sector clients, architects, engineers and residents seeking to reduce the conventional energy use of their facilities.
