Use the new Energy Tracker to easily track your electricity and heating use and costs over time! The Energy Tracker is a tool developed by the SEDA-COG Energy Resource Center that generates charts showing how much energy you are using, when you are using energy, and what it is costing you. Better yet, the charts also illustrate how much you save when you use less energy.
Download the Energy Tracker by clicking the button below. Click on the download arrow at the top right of your screen to open the Tracker, then “Save As” on your desktop to easily access it.
Simply enter monthly cost and consumption from your monthly utility bills in the Tracker’s table. Then, view the charts contained in the tabs in the bottom of your screen. These charts automatically show your energy use and costs in various ways such as annually, monthly per number of household members, per square footage, and per unit of production.
Saving energy is often a matter of implementing no-cost behavioral changes into your daily routine. For a list of simple money-saving tips that won’t cost you anything at all, click HERE. Keeping more money in your wallet has never been simpler!
